Massage Therapist Training Requirements in New Mexico

This short post will tell you everything you need to know about becoming a licensed massage therapist (MT) in New Mexico.

The amount of work required to get licensed is pretty normal in comparison to the other states.  First of all you need to complete a massage therapy program at a registered massage school.  This should also help you fulfill the requirement of having 650 hours of education.

Additionally you must pass a national exam.  Any of the NCETM, NCETMB, or MBLEx are accepted.

Your license expires every 2 years; to keep your license you need to accumulate 16 hours of continuing education in this 2 year period.
